Condition: Like rug 1478 this rug has structural qualities very similar to ""Ten Tank"" rugs, but the design and colors are new and innovative. The style of rendering and the specific drawings of tanks and helicopters is new since 2001. This rug was chosen from a pile of 20 similar rugs for its vivid color, beautiful blue, good knotting and high quality wool. This is a beautiful example of a contemporary Beluchi war rug.

Sheen: Very good.
Handle: Strong version of floppy
Selvedge: Tightly bound one cord braided goathair overcast.
Fringe: Blue and green kilims. Braided closure at top with and Persian closure at bottom.
Pile: 7mm
Warp: 2S1Z khaki color wool
Weft: Purplish grey wool
Warp Depression: Warps are pretty much flat
