Condition: The condition of this rug is very unusual. It is floppy beyond anything that warrug.com has ever seen. Each knot has a discreet tuft. Each knot's tuft forms a twisted clump of wool. The pink colors are uneven. The with zigzags of white on the tanks
Wool: Very good, soft, lustrous, slightly matted.
Sheen: Very good, especially in mustard and turquoise.
Handle: Most floppy rug ever.
Selvedge: Worn braided goat hair. Where goat hair is missing dark grey wool, perhaps dyed black, is exposed.
Fringe: Thick 2S wool with Persian closure where kilim ends have been removed.
Pile: 5mm to 7mm
Warp: Mostly light tan wool, with 9 inches of darker brown warps in middle.
Weft: Light grey wool
Warp Depression: Almost no warp depression
