The condition of this new war rug is excellent. This rug is extremely well knotted and its use of colors is very well done. There is the image of melting steel at the top of the World Trade Center on the upper left of this rug. In the background of this war rug is the outline of a map of Afghanistan. The flags of the two countries are well drawn, as is the dove carrying an olive branch.
Wool: The wool is soft and fine. Sheen: The sheen is nice and glossy. Handle: The handle on this war rug is firm and flexible. Selvedge: The selvedge consists of 2 cord black wool.
Fringe: The fringe on this war rug is of 1/4 kilim with Persian closure. Pile: Wool 5mm.Warp: White cotton.Weft: Black cotton.
