Condition: The condition of this new war rug is excellent. The drawing is pleasantly simple and has a strong graphic quality. The motifs are bold and straightforward. Features all of the motifs of other similar WTC rugs, however all are very simplified and abstracted. Very interesting rug.
Some of the red dye in the text is bleeding into the field, notably 'SEPTE' and '2001' in the top left corner.
Wool: The wool is soft and fine.
Sheen: The sheen is nice and glossy.
Handle: The handle on this war rug is firm and rigid.
Selvedge: The selvedge is of 2 cord black wool flat
Fringe: The fringe on this war rug has no kilim end.
Pile: Wool 6mm.
Warp: White cotton.
Weft: Black cotton.
