This busy and colorful rug seems to be a geometric version inspired by Herati designs. A plus shaped medallion in the center houses 11 simply drawn helicopters with two 'hour glass' shapes . A line of geometric figures is connected down the center of the rug, while various colored geometric zig-zag block shapes radiate from the center medallion. The lozenge contains these shapes on a blue background, and a field of green abrash separates this area from the flowery blue spandrels. |
