Condition: Received in new condition. Excellent wool and well knotted. This is one of the first two of this design. Warrug is keeping one for exhibition, and selling this one.
Wool: Excellent. Hand spun wool coupled with natural dyes.
Sheen: Excellent sheen.
Handle: The handle of this rug reflects its depressed warps and thick singles, so its handle is stiff and strong.
Selvedge: The selvedge is a two cords tightly wrapped in dark blue.
Fringe: Very unusual fringe that has a series of woven warps into a lattice design. Never seen this on Afghan rugs before.
