Condition: This is a Najibullah rug of a different quality from most that I have seen. It is not as finely woven and it does not use the 'Beljik' wool associated with Najibullah rugs.

Wool: Good

Sheen: Okay

Handle: Very sturdy and strong. Tough.

Selvedge: Black wool overcast.

Fringe: Short cotton kilim band with overhand knots and short fringe.

Pile: 7mm wool. Thick guage.

Warp: Buff cotton

Weft: Unusual. Black and pink wool.

Warp Depression: 50 degree warp depression.
