The text on this F-16 map rug is very clear and unique. The top reads (with no spaces and misspellings included) "THE AFGHANITAN FREINDSHIP WITH AMIRCA" while the bottom reads "MADE IN AFGHANISTAN SHBRGHAN"
The center of the rug reads "ROT OF TERRORISM WITH HELEI (help?) OF AMERC AND BRITAINHA"
The American and Afghan flags create a banner at the top with a peace dove in between. Inside the silhouete of Afghanistan sits a B52, some trucks, and mountains labeled "TARA BORA"
Three B52's fly below the country and one flies above.

Three Fighter Jet War Rug with Tora Bora and Flag Banner PSYOP Motifs
This new war rug is in excellent condition with only some minor bleeding that is common in this type of tribal folk art. The text is incredibly simple in language and yet astonishingly profound in meaning. The phrase beneath the nation-building banner of peace reads to the terrorists Terrors, the freedom of Afghanistan our local leader has come with American Forces. Not commonly seen in Tora Bora war rugs is the ethnicity of the artist written along side of the text reading Made in Afghanistan Turkmen. The labeling of all the countries that share a border with Afghanistan is nice, as well as the Tora Bora mountain range. Of note is the particular attention this artist paid to the beautiful emblem in the flag of Afghanistan.

To Create Freedom in Afghanistan - Flag Banner War Rug - Sherberghan
This new war rug is in perfect condition. This is a fascinating piece of folk art that not only couples a traditional art form, such as weaving, with contemporary images, tanks versus flowers, but also adds the traditional to the contemporary in terms of war rugs in particular. The image of the American and Afghan flags united by a dove carrying an olive sprig came directly from leaflets dropped on Afghanistan by our Special Forces, as well as the images of the pick-up trucks found inside the map. However, the trucks are usually also found in complete depictions on the leaflets, that is to say, next to the Tora Bora mountain range. The artist of this war rug took the traditional use of the Afghan map containing helicopters, tanks, and planes as well as the blessing for a long life to Afghanistan from the Soviet-era war rugs and added the contemporary image of the trucks to the scene. Where the term USA 2002 now stands, it once read USSR 1989. This war rug almost stands as a testimony to the history of Afghanistan starting from the Bolshevik years and ending in the 21st century.

Bright Colored Tora Bora War Rug Saying -Your Leaders Have Come with US Forces-
The rich blue in this Tora Bora rug helps it stand out from the rest. Although the colors necessary to correctly depict the American and Afghan flags are present in the rug, the weavers instead chose to use yellows and greens in the American flag instead of Red and blue, and added blue to the Afghan flag.

Yellow Map Afghan War Rug with White Dove, Route of Terrorism Rug
The condition of this new war rug is perfect. This rug has a banner across the top that shows the flags of Afghanistan and America united by a white dove carrying an olive branch. Both flags are drawn extremely well. The wonderful colors can be seen in these and throughout the rug. Also of note, is the bomb heading toward the Tora Bora mountain region and a symbol of an explosion below. The squares that are drawn in the mountains represent the caves that our Special Forces are searching one by one as the US hunts for Osama bin Laden.

"The condition of this new war rug is excellent. This map of Afghanistan remarkably highlights the Tora Bora region in the east and the images on the tips of the mountains appear to represent the frequent bombings in the area as the U.S. hunts for Osama bin Laden.

The condition of this new war rug is excellent. What description could ever do this war rug justice when the weaver states it so beautifully?
""To create the freedom in Afghanistan your local leader have joined forces with American Forces""
Nuff said. God Speed to our Forces during this mobilization and deployment.

The condition of this new war is excellent. The colors are incredible in the war rug, and some of the imagery used is rare and exceptionally executed.
The scene depicted in the Tora Bora mountain region shows a bomb falling towards a target in the mountains. The truck bombing are not usually seen in war rugs, and this new image is sure to be of interest to collectors and non-collectors alike.

The condition of this new war rug is excellent. This Tora Bora war rug is interesting because of its perfectly drawn plane on the bottom juxtaposed with the fact that the Xes seen throughout this rug is usually the sign of a beginner. They use those to fill in long stretches of same colored yarn weaving to help with boredom that can occur. Perhaps the weaver used this Tora Bora pattern as an exercise to practice the design of bombers and text.
