Condition: Classic fine, lustrous and translucent wool found in good car style war rugs. The border is a traditional Baluchi one from around Herat. The wool is gorgeously oxidized
Wool: Excellent
Sheen: The oxidation process makes this particular wool, translucent and sparkly. It shows how fine tribal Afghan wool can be.
Handle: Floppy
Selvedge: Somewhat worn braided goat hair, with grey wefts protruding here and there.
Fringe: The ends look reduced, and are closed with Persian closure.
Pile: 4mm
Warp: Unusual brown warps, 2Z1S
Weft: Ubiquitous grey cotton
Warp Depression: 45 degree corduroy
