Generally, rugs with this much warp depression have a very stiff handle, but Ali Kwaja rugs are so fine that they are floppy despite the warp depression.

This rug, #1689, Drone Medallion on Sky Blue Field, is a Turkmen woven Vegetal Dye Peshawar style Drone rug, and it has a very firm handle. Firm handle means the rug is stiff and does not bend easily, so firm rugs have a wide diameter when folded, like in this photo.
