Date: Early 2000's (Judging by car border. This image was used in an early group of very fine war rugs, but later was appropriated into a larger group of rugs)

Style: Late Car Style (2010's and beyond)

Tribe: Timuri

Condition: New condition piece with good colors. Car border indicates the 2000's. The red airplanes really pop on blue field while brown give a good chromatic foundation. The writing on the sides of the tanks says, "tank", but it has become abstracted in this example.

Wool: The wool as good abrash, and the different colors have different textures.

Sheen: Good wool produces good sheen.

Handle: Floppy, typical of type.

Selvedge: Braided goat hair.

Fringe: Nice end finish with floated weft brocade and zig-zag weft substitution.

Pile: 5mm

Warp: Tan wool. Classic. Number 2

Weft: Grey cotton, per usual.

Warp Depression: Flat back. The warps all lay on one plane, so they are not depressed at all.
