Condition: This war rug is in new condition, and it has never been used on the floor. The red in this rug is warmer than most, the red is more fire engine red. The green accents compliment the red well, particularly the green outlined rifle that is on the left side just above the middle.
Wool: This wool is typical red rug wool, so it's a little dry and spun into thick threads.
Sheen: Okay
Handle: Stiff and strong.
Selvedge: Selvedge is a mix of purple and brown wool. The selvedge is weft wrapped without any supplemental overcast.
Fringe: Tan cotton, short kilim, overhand kntos, and 2 inch fringe.
Pile: 3/16 inch deep wool.
Warp: White cotton
Weft: Brown and purple, apparently a mix of wool and cotton.
