| The condition of this new war rug is good. This is an Afghan war rug that was washed using a special technique in Pakistan before it was shipped to us. It has lovely abrash to it and the wool is finer than most. The use of a symmetrical pattern is well done with the added touch of grenades only at the bottom suggesting that the weaver miss calculated the size. This lends to the appeal of the traditional tribal form of weaving used by the nomads in Afghanistan. A real plus for collectors and non-collectors alike. |
