| This classic war rug is characterized by its blue selvedge and electric purple accents. A slightly darker red than the most red rugs, the dark browns and greens contrast nicely with the neon purples and oranges.
This rug would have a lot of brightly colored accents, however it "painted" on both the front and the back. Some clever person appears to have used black dye to mute the the bright colors. In rug terms, we call this painted. It looks better (to some) at a glance, but it hurts the value, imho, so it is priced accordingly. |
