Condition: This is a new rug in perfect condition. The rug has a beautiful US and Afghan flag, united by a symbolic white dove. It is made in the town of Sherberghan in Afghanistan.

Wool: The wool is fine, soft, and consistent.

Sheen: The sheen has a nice, even, soft luster.

Handle: firm - solid, strong

Selvedge: 2 cord wool overcast

Fringe: 1/2 cotton plain weave, Persian closure 1 inch fringe.

Pile: wool 6 mm.

Warp: white cotton

Weft: black cotton

Warp Depression: Full depression
