This rug is in new condition, so its sheen and oxidation are minimal now. The pile is very even. The field color is very attractive dark navy to Prussian blue. Overall rug is above average quality
Wool: The wool is uncommonly thick for a Beluch piece. It is loosely spun of curly wool. It is slightly dry feeling, again because of its new condition. Wool is shiny. Sheen: Satisfactory Handle: Floppy and solid Selvedge: Selvedge is well done in braided goat hair overcast.
