Beautiful abrash in the blue field. Strong color comes out from the shiny wool on the border. 2/3

This group is defined by more square proportions, different - more even - abrash in the field, a warmer red in the border, and the border color on the selvedge.

Wool: Good Sheen: Good Handle: Thick, very durable. Selvedge: Two cord flat with border color. Right hand selvedge outer shoot is very thick, almost looking like singe cord overcast.
Fringe: Short, Persian closure Pile: Warp: White cotton. Rightmost four inches has different stretchy texture. Weft: Double light grey or buff
Warp Depression:Like wide wale corduroy, big knots with offset warps creates ridges.
Received directly from Afghanistan in November 2016. Signed and dated 1395. Third of three rugs by this weaver in this batch
