The condition of this new war rug is excellent. This rug is extremely well drawn and its use of colors is exceptional. The Twin Towers and the air craft carrier are almost drawn in 3-D fashion, as is the fire coming out of the missile fired in the lower right. Another interesting point that sets this war rug apart, is the text. It is quite clearly written and the fact that is fight is listed in order of impact, along with the airline and flight number.
There is the haunting image of a person falling between the two towers in this war rug.
Wool: The wool is soft and fine. Sheen: The sheen is nice and glossy. Handle: The handle on this war rug is firm and rigid. Selvedge: The selvedge is of 2 cord black wool.
Fringe: The fringe on this war rug has no kilim end. Pile: Wool 6mm.Warp: White cotton.Weft: Black cotton.
Warp Depression:Full Depression
